These humidifiers assist in atomizing water into fine mist for rapid evaporation, thus ensuring uniform distribution of humidified air. Further, these also have low operating costs with minimum maintenance requirements.
Specifications
- Unit is run by specially designed 3/4 HP high speed electric motor that is suitable for 400/440 v. 3 phase 50 cycles, A.C. supply
- Humidifier throws approximately 2400 cfm. air & evaporates up to 40 litres of water per hour
Electric Connection:
- Each humidifier unit to be connected to switch through starter having thermal overload relay
- Relay should be set at 1.2 amps
- When started, motor should run in clockwise direction when viewed from back or fan end of motor
Feed Water
- For better performance, unit should be supplied with clean water at constant pressures that may be anywhere between 10 & 35 lbs per sq. inch
How It Operates
- Motor (A) is mounted horizontally, with motor shaft extending through both ends of housing
- On one end of Shaft is specially engineered fan (B) on the other is a disc (C) that revolves with motor shaft
- Surrounding the disc are (D) stainless steel teeth
- Water is fed at constant pressures through small copper tube (E) onto back surface of fast rotating disc
- Centrifugal force spreads it outward in thin film
- Striking teeth with terrific impact, water is broken up into very fine spray
- The resulting fine mist is mixed with air stream produced by fan and is completely evaporated
